ABOUT SEW MUCH MORE WITH JADE

In 2014, Sew Much More With Jade was founded when I began to make my own clothes as I needed a positive outlet for my passion to be creative, but also modest at the same time. I decided to turn my interests into an official Sewing Business at the end of lockdown in 2021, when I was made redundant . I knew the pandemic took away alot of the community spirit and confidence to socialise and that we were facing another pandemic called ill mental health and social isolation. I was determined to get creative people back together and to not allow this timeless trade to fade with time. With myself relocating from Birmingham to Wolverhampton I was on my way to new pastures. With time, our workshops have grown and developed, allowing beginners to take their interests to new levels. When you decide to join us, you too will gain the confidence and skills and will unleash your abilities into creating your own garments and items, you'll have access to various events and, more importantly, to a community of people who are just as passionate as you are and so much more..

At Sew Much More With Jade, we believe that sewing can be a powerful tool for improving one's mental health and overall well-being. Our workshops are designed to be a safe and welcoming space for people to come together and learn new skills while also building confidence and self-esteem. We are committed to making these workshops accessible to everyone in our community, regardless of their financial situation. With the support of donations and freewill gifts, we would be able to offer some workshops for free. We have seen firsthand the positive impact they can have on individuals and the community as a whole.
